Chapter 7
After reading chapter 7, I feel
that spread is the most important factor related to my future career as a
Physician Assistant. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects a 38% job growth
rate for the Physician Assistant profession through 2022. The influx of
providers and spread of the profession, will hopefully allow more individuals
to become aware of the profession. Many individuals do not know what physician
assistants are, and some people refuse to see one for medical care. I also believe
that the growth of the profession would bring more knowledge to the medical
community. With more physician assistants, more medical professionals would be
involved to share their thoughts, ideas, and stories regarding cases and medical
information. Not only will this help other professionals, it will help patients
as well.
Using websites such as blogs, will allow
medical professionals, especially physician assistants, to communicate with each
other and share knowledge about medical cases and how they deal with certain
aspects of the profession.
I find these chapters truly helpful
to relate to my future career. I find it very interesting that I am able to
relate a textbook written for education majors, and people in the education
field to my future profession in the medical field. I did not realize how
closely related social networking was throughout every profession. I feel as
though this class and this chapter especially showed me how much really goes into
each profession and how different professional utilize different tools to help
them succeed.

I can relate to what your saying about chapter seven because I to want to be a physicians assistant. I think it would be helpful to read other medical blogs and relate to others through blogs. I will be able to learn from others experience to help my future. I find that learning from others is easier and more helpful then learning the material from reading and test taking.
